Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Software team at Bryne.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Working as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision.
• Understanding and applying applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements
Qualifications for the role
• Masters or Bachelor’s degree within mechanics, mechatronics, or similar
• Familiarity with technologies such as
• Embedded systems based on Linux and bare metal
• Complex software developments on SoC
• Control theory
• Python, C/C++, C#, TypeScript
• Azure and Azure DevOps
• Continuous integration and deployment with advanced testing of embedded systems
• Software for functional safety
• Ethernet based communication (EtherCat / TCP/IP )
• You are captivated by the world of Robotics.
• You are at ease communicating in English and preferably Norwegian.
